The International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS) promotes the highest standard of care for men, women and children throughout the world who have suffered a spinal cord injury (SCI). Wellspect is proud to announce their partnership with ISCoS and look forward to collaborating on our shared vision, to make a real difference and to foster education, research and clinical excellence.
We are dedicated to providing products and knowledge to enable users to live an independent and dignified life. As part of our 5-year strategy with an emphasis on sustainability, we have identified focus areas that align with the UN Global Goals, one of which being “Good health and well-being”.
Good health and well-being
We want to empower more people who suffer from bladder and bowel dysfunction to gain independence and enjoy life through access to innovative continence care solutions and by providing products that are easy to learn and teach, committed support, and education to healthcare professionals. We aim to actively contribute to raising awareness of bladder and bowel dysfunction and to find more ways to share our knowledge and collaborate with others within the field.
We see our partnership with ISCoS as a great opportunity and steppingstone on our journey to achieving these goals.
ISCoS Regional Symposia – fostering education to strengthen SCI Care across the globe
The first stop on our partnership journey together with ISCoS is the ISCoS Regional Symposium in Latin America and the Caribbean which is part of ISCoS on the Road and will take place virtually 9-10th of July. With these regional symposia, ISCoS aims to bring the best elements of ISCoS research and education to parts of the world which have an identified need for strengthening and support of spinal cord services. The aim is to share knowledge and research and offer the best possible SCI Care and as a result offer a higher quality of life after spinal cord injury.
Wellspect will be joining as a virtual exhibitor providing information on IC and TAI following Spinal Cord Injury, our services and products. We are also a contributor of educational content for the session on SCI Bladder & Bowel Management.
Together with ISCoS we hope to help contribute to:
- Increasing knowledge skills and confidence in SCI management
- Raising awareness of bladder and bowel dysfunction and SCI
Stay tuned for more upcoming information about our ISCoS Partnership.
