wellspect-science-alert-bladder-and-bowel

This cohort study compared bladder and bowel dysfunction in 423 patients with early Parkinson’s disease (PD) with 196 healthy controls of the same age and with the same gender distribution.

The purpose was to investigate the prevalence of urinary incontinence, nighttime voiding, constipation, and fecal incontinence, and to establish whether the prevalence differed between persons with PD and healthy controls.
